Restriction doesn't block

Router: Buffalo WZR-HP-AG300H/WZR-600DHP
Gargoyle: 1.8.0

I've tried to setup a restriction as is shown below. I'm not having luck with it actually blocking anything. I used the reddit nsfw link as my test/proof of concept for blocking (bottom of the image print screen). It still gets through.

I'm still a bit new (2 days using gargoyle). Perhaps I don't understand everything I should be doing to setup restrictions to work effectively.

Any suggestions?

Thank you,

Tali

From various posts it seems that OpenDNS Family shield is a good way to go

Also, this post is worth a read

I've got OpenDNS and it does ok... But as I look at my web usage I can see it obviously doesn't block enough.

A good example is www.reddit.com. Because the subreddits fall under the main URL and not sub domains OpenDNS doesn't block those. Even with OpenDNS users can still get to www.reddit.com/r/nsfw.

I'd really like to see the Restrictions work as I think that is what they are intended to be used for on the router. I should be able to add a block on nsfw and make it so www.reddit.com/r/nsfw isn't reachable. But I can't get the Restrictions to work.

Adding words and sites to my blocking should work.
