I have a Huawei E5186s-22a 4G LTE Router at home. Is Gargoyle compatible with it? If so, which version/file should I download?

Not sure about that particular model. If it's a Hilink model than the standard gargoyle is unlikely to work. You could try the eko Pl gargoyle 1.6.2 images which worked for me and seem to have better mobile dongle compatability.
