Guest Network on two routers

I noticied 1.7.1 includes support for a guest network. Can this network be setup on two routers? I have two identical Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH routers, connected through my lan. Currently they run OpenWRT. One of them, is hooked up to the WAN, and provides DHCP and firewall. And they both serve identical wifi networds (ssid) so roaming works between them.
I would like to add a guest wifi network, and saw that Gargoyle now has this, but wanted to know if it would work across two routers.

Thanks for the reply. I am glad to know it should work, so I'll give it a try and report back.

First off, I am very happy with Gargoyle, it seams to do everything I need quite easily (printer, server, usb storage, etc). Nice work.
As far as running a guest wifi network on two routers, I ran into a stumbling block. I installed gargoyle 1.7.1 on my two routers, and tried using a guest network on both. On the first router, (the one with internet connection), everything is pretty much default, with a guest network turned on, and everything works great. This router is connected by cable to a second router. On this second one, I disabled firewall and dhcp since the first one should (I think) handle this. When I enabled a guest wifi and enabled "Wireless client isolation", it looks like clients connect but can't get an ip, so it seems to be too isolated. Is this the correct way to get this working? Should the second router instead handle dhcp for it's own clients separately?
On the other hand, the Openwrt wiki recently added instructions for guest connections on multiple devices using a vlan [1]. Could I go this route in Gargolye.
Again, thanks for your help.
