[Solved] Restriction schedule not working

Mid April I ordered from Gargoyle the following router: GGR02 Gargoyle Gigabit Router.

I have successfully installed it 2 days back, and everything is fine except that the time based restriction has not been working nor the quota (quota was the only reason why I was replacing my previous Linksys router)

I have successfully assigned IP 192.168.1.107 to the family's iPad.

I have created a restriction by which all hosts outside of 192.168.1.101-192.168.1.105 are blocked all access past 20:00.

However past 8PM the iPad still has access. I can't figure what I got wrong.

Similarly, I have installed a 1Gb per week quota for the iPad. And, while the quota has reached 100%, the iPad can still browse the internet.

It seems so simple - what am I missing??

The lo-res pic are pretty hard for my eyes but .... it looks to me on the first screen-shot that your restriction is active between 7am and 8pm.

You probably want 00:00-07:00, 20:00-24:00

i agree with the above response. The time period doesn't wrap around in the way you have listed. You must make 2 rules, 1 between 0:00 and 07:00 and 1 between 20:00 and 23:59.

As for your other problem with the quotas, can we also get a screenshot of the "Edit" window for that one please? Just to double check.

You've provided everything else which is great :)

Duh!
Thank you! That fixed it indeed. And the quota started working as well (no idea why that was related)
I knew it had to be something I was missing. Thank god i asked rather than wasting more time staring at what was right in front of my eyes.
What threw me off is that I was trying to render internet inactive, so for me "hours active" meant "hours internet is active" whereas it meant "hours the restriction is active" Duh!
Thank you for your help!
