Will QoS still function with bwmon disable?

bwmon sucks up some connection speed and it's noticeable on very fast connections. Disabling it helps resolve that, but does disabling bwmon also prevent QoS from functioning?

You don't need bwmon... I always disable it and chmod -x it to be sure.
