Thank you very much, this worked perfectly. I modified the process slightly because as I had the 1.7.1 file on my PC I used WinSCP to manually move the .bin file to the /tmp directory and then used the sysupgrade command exactly as you wrote it. Upgraded without a problem.

Eric do you have ETA for 1.7.2 ?

1.7 versions ddns doesn't work on my tplink 841/741 routers because of lack of sha1sum function.as I issue sha1sum command it return with sha1sum not fount error which other users didn't have similar issue as it discussedhere.
Installing coreutils-sha1sum package solve ddns problem but introduce much problem with other gargoyle configs like QoS,Port forwarding ,etc.Discussed here.

I hope future version doesn't have these problems.
