iOS access to Windows shares

Hello,
Please forgive me for a basic question. I just installed Gargoyle v1.62 on my Netgear WNDR3700v2 and everything is working well except for one detail.
With the Netgear firmware I could access Windows shared folders on my LAN with my iOS devices. Since moving to Gargoyle I don't appear to be able to do this.
Can any of you experts here offer any advice on what I might be doing wrong?
Thanks in advance for any help you can osfer.

Forum admin please feel free to delete this thread. The above is a non-issue. It was a dumb error on my part.

OK - point taken. Here's the story.
My WNDR3700v2 was loaded with factory firmware v1.0.0.32. This firmware was problematic insofar that it blocked loading of any other firmware, factory or otherwise, via the web interface. To get around this problem it is necessary to put the router into TFTP mode and upload an older factory firmware such as v1.0.0.12 and then use the web interface to load the firmware os choice. for those that want to know the router can be put into TFTP mode by pressing and holding the reset switch through the power up sequence until the status light flashes green continuously.
The PC used to run the TFtP client must be assigned a static IP in the same subnet as the router and later changed back to dynamic IP assignment once the firmware is loaded. What I failed to realize was that changing the IP assignment some how caused the shared folders on the PC to become unshared. When I later browsed the network with my iPhone no shared folders were visible and hence the OP above. Restoring the shared folders immediately solved the problem and now everything is working very well.
