Hello. I have updated to Gargoyle version 1.7 on a Netgear WNDR3700v1. All is well, except I have two EPSON printers which have always connected happily via wireless using WPA PSK protocol. On Gargoyle v1.7 these two printers will not connect, Gargoyle shows the MAC address in the Connected Hosts page though no IP address is associated with the MAC address. This happens whether I use a static IP address set up in the printer or DHCP in Gargoyle or a forced IP address again from Gargoyle. Using an ethernet wired connection to the printers works OK, I just do not have ethernet near the normal location of the printers.

The screen shot shows one of the printers with MAC address 00:00:48:39:D1:61 and no assigned IP address.

Any thoughts on how to solve this problem? Thanks.

Hi and thanks for the response. Yes I have been running Gargoyle for a number of years as it is such a great product. I was on 1.6.2 before I upgraded to 1.7.0 over the last few days. All the previous versions including 1.6.2 have worked perfectly with wireless connections to the two EPSON printers in question. The problem has only happened with version 1.7.0, so I assume it is some sort of bug in this latest release.

While I am not familiar with the language Gargoyle is written in, I can navigate around command line inputs and retrieve logs and similar as long as the commands and process is spelled out. Is there anything I can do to help track down the problem?
