Not getting IP address from ISP

I have a WNDR3700 v1 router.
I flashed to the latest version of Gargoyle 1.6.2 last night. Everything seemed to go smoothly. I noticed when I logged in Gargoyle for the first time that I had no connection information. I cannot seem to get DHCP information from my ISP at all.
A few notes:
1. The router is connected exactly as it was before I flashed the firmware from the stock firmware. No cables have changed, no network equipment moved, etc...
2. I do not have a cable modem. I have fiber, so I just have an ethernet cable that comes into the house. (I mention because there is no modem between me and the ISP).
Configuration Notes:
1. I am using Gateway (the default)
2. Connect Via" is set to "DHCP (Wired)" (again, the default)
(this is also how my netgear stock firmware was configured)
3. Current Lease Expires is blank because there is no connection
4. I have tried checking the "Use Custom MAC Address". (I have not tried setting a different MAC address....just using the actual MAC address of the router)
5. I have tried setting to STATIC settings to match what I had configured in the Netgear stock settings. I have also verified that when I connect my PC direct to the internet that these are the settings being delivered by my ISP. No luck.
I've rebooted the router multiple times.
I've run out of things to try. It's like the WAN port is dead on the router once Gargoyle has been installed. This is just weird.
I'm thinking of reflashing back to the factory firmware. Kids have home work to do tonight, our IP phones don't work, the smartthings hub doesn't work without an internet connection, etc...
Anything obvious that I'm missing? Any known bugs that I should be aware of? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks
- Andy
P.S. I really HATE the stock firmware on this router and really do not want to go back to the factory firmware. I know how to do that if I can't get Gargoyle working, but I don't want to do it.
