Hi,

I have downloaded the ipk for openwrt, but when I run the command 'opkg install shadowsocks-libev_1.4.8-2_ar71xx.ipk' , I receive the following error:

ERROR: No package named shadowsocks-libev found, try updating your package lists

Any ideas how to get around it like how to manually compile the package?

ok got it to install by manually compiling on linux and copying the package over.

Has anyone actually used shadowsocks and how to verify if it's working?

I want to use this when I travel to China and want to forward all traffic to shadowsocks. Thanks
