TP-Link WR841ND v7.2: loose conection as wireless bridge

Hi,
I have a TP-Link WR841ND v7.2 with the last firmware (1.6.2)
I'm using it as wireless bridge. The main AP is a TPlink 741 with the original firmware.
Everything is ok, but from time to time (tipically: a bounch of hour), the TP-Link WR841ND v7.2 loose the signal. My PCs are still connected to it, but without access to internet or to the main AP at all.
Using original firmware on TP-Link WR841ND v7.2 on WDS mode all is working fine.
The question is: it is a firmware problem or (as I presume) it's just that my dear router is starting to die?
Thanks to all!
