Hello all!
Basically I'm pretty decent with learning new things and computers in general, what I could never wrap my head around is the networking side.
currently I'm living by myself with my own internet and I have a crappy cheap ASUS - N12E modem which suits my needs fine. I'm moving back into the family home shortly and will have a second internet line coming into the house to run alongside their internet plan and I will be sharing this with my step brother as we are the only two who get annoyed with the slow speeds of multiple users downloading/streaming constantly.
I'm here now to ask the easiest way to have our bandwith split 50/50 and I'm also looking for a bit more information on the gargoyle routers for sale on this website, I'm curious as to how the setup would need to be configured.
Are the routers available for purchase here modem routers? will I just need the one product and can scrap my asus? or do I need to use the asus with the router? Please answer informatively as I am not very knowledgeable in this area but I'm very capable of understanding. Thanks!
