Static IP for WAN - DNS set to LAN IP

When you set a Static IP for the WAN IP, it defaults
the WAN DNS to the LAN IP range.
Can you have WAN DNS default to the WAN gateway IP when
you assign a static IP for the WAN port?
Or can there be an additional field added when you set a
Static IP for the WAN port?
I.e. - put a field entry for WAN DNS?
