Web Usage Question

Hello,

I'm new to the forum, but used Gargoyle for years. I have a question regarding the web usage monitor and couldn't find much information after searching. Is there a way to filter out IP addresses that are used by ads that the user didn't actually visit? Basically I can go to a website like thechive.com (KCCO!), and on the web usage monitor every ad on the website shows up as though I have visited it. Something that is also strange to me is that when I click on a link inside a website that directs me to another website, the new website doesn't show up under web usage. I have a Netgear WNDR3700v2 running 1.6.0 (getting ready to upgrade to 1.6.1). I am pretty tech savvy, but sometimes look too far into things, so just hoping I can get a little insight.

Thanks!

Don't no about them not showing up but you can block ads
