I updated the openwrt wiki: http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/tl- ... k.firmware
Also you don't need to open the router :)

Thanks FriedZombie for your help

and in the wiki part, I can ignore it when it says "With the TL-WR842ND router, there is a catch: the..........." ??

it doesn't say WDR3600 really.

And according to the README, all i have to do is to use the .bin, the "stripped" firmware and use the gargoyle GUI page to undate it?

Thanks again

yes you can just flash that file within the zip via the gargoyle web gui.

And now you know where i copied the text from :P (almost all tp-link routers have the same catch).

I fixed that mistake on the wiki

Thanks a lot again, I did flashed a sysupgrade.bin from Gargoyle to OpenWRT, then I flashed again using your Stripped version.

First time it said success, but still in OpenWRT GUI, I then did another time and it was still the same.
After like 10-15min after, the TP Link GUI finally loads up and I am back to stock, thanks a lot once again

probably OpenWrt wasn't intialized completely when you tried to flash the oem firmware.

Also the step going grom gargoyle to openwrt isn't needed, but glad you got it working :)
