Comms and Network Problems

I am a new to Gargoyle, but it would seem to be the answer ....
I bit of a long post for a first time but .....
As many people in the UK, I assume, I am fed up with British Telecom!
My BT land line connection is extremely poor. I have data low speed and a noisy phone line. BT have not been able to improve this and there are no future plans to update the local exchange to fibre etc. I have taken the plunge and chosen to serve may internet needs with 4g.
I have two internet connections. Both are 4g, via two SIM cards. The first is 50Gb the second is 20Gb. At present I swap the SIM cards part way through the month into my Huawei B593 router.
This connection provides data connection to:
- VOIP telephone Gigaset N300IP
- Wireless LAN
- LAN via homeplug network
I have a couple of problems with this ....
1 - Swapping the SIM cards is a bit of a pain.
2 - When we reach our data limit, as we do sometimes, the telephone is also lost.
1 is just a pain, 2 is a major problem!
I have a Huawei E5776 modem which I could use for the second SIM card. This has a USB interface. I also have a Draytek 2830VN router which has 3 WAN inputs (1 Ethernet, 1 USB, 1 ADSL). At present I can't get the E5776 and Draytek to interface. If this would work then I have a solution to problem 1.
Has anyone got any ideas on how to get this working?
Problem 2 seems to need Gargoyle. I would like to ensure that 2Gb is made available / segregated / allocated for VOIP. I think this requires quota management as opposed to bandwidth management? I believe this is where Gargoyle comes in. It seems to be the only firmware that does this.
Will Gargoyle work on my Draytek 2830VN?
Bearing in mind the problems I am having with problem 1 then a new router may be in order?
A new router with Gargoyle installed / support, that has an Ethernet and USB WAN input may be the best solution?
Can anyone help?
Thanks
Dave
