Just for the love of tweaking, I want to optimize my WiFi connection. But somehow I do not get it above 73Mbps, though I have a 150Mbps connection.

Some facts;
- TP-Link 1043 v2.1
- Gargoyle 1.6.0
- Forced to WiFi-N 40Mhz
- Cat5 cable from modem to router
- Wired to router it gives 150Mbps
- Router gives a 450Mbps connection
- Laptop just 2 meters from router
- Signal Strength 100% / Signal quality 100% (Realtek utility)
- My laptop is the only one using router (MAC restrictions)
- WiFi receiver is WiFi-N 300Mbps (EDUP EP-N1528)
- Max. connection rate reported by Win 8.1 is 300Mbps
- Drivers for receiver are 100% okay and up to date

Testing all with speedtest.net

Now what can I do to get a higher download speed?

Found out disabling bwmon boosts the WiFi speed.
In my situation it went from 75-80Mpbs to 95-100Mbps
