My semi Automatic build machine for the last few builds I suspect wasn't working as expected. I suspect it wasn't pulling the latest Gargoyle from sources.

Sorry about that

Anyway this is from a new build machine and has been tested first.

It does look like your previous build pulled an older version of Gargoyle.

It says 1.5.X (Built 20131021-0451 git@9c5be4b) which dates back to August 13th commit if I found that correctly.

OpenWRT version was the latest one tho.

Do you think that I could use restore if I flash this version? I would be willing to do it right away if I don't have to put all of the DNS and QoS rules back manually. Otherwise I need more time.

I personally get a 95-99% successes with preserve settings...............Should work but your call.

Ok, I've flashed with this build. Settings were successfully restored.

I can certainly see new UI stuff, and plugins work now.

Initial password also works. It always worked, but I forgot that it was simply "password" since I didn't get my last few releases from Download page and wasn't reminded in the process -.-

Thank you!

Thanks for your update Wisse.

Yesterday I actually tried dd-wrt on my wndr3700v2 and i dit not experience the connection problems with my foscam camera as i did with 1.4.7, 1.5.9 en 1.5.10. Overnight things have been stable with dd-wrt but Gargoyle is much more easy to configure so i will certainly revert back to gargoyle.

Cool, will give this roll a try with a wzr-hp-g300nh v1 in a client+ap config - hopefully this doesn't loose connection as 1.5.11 does, will report back tomorrow on progress, thanks!

Well that was short lived, same problem in this roll as was with 1.5.11 - client+ap config works for a couple of hours, then looses connection, only way i can get it to work again is go into the Connection tab of the webif and click Save Changes, i don't have to change anything in there, just click save and it works again.

I have the dmesg log of the problem, and it reports this error over and over:

[ 3820.830000] br-wan: received packet on wlan0-1 with own address as source address
[ 3827.040000] br-wan: received packet on wlan0-1 with own address as source address
[ 3839.040000] br-wan: received packet on wlan0-1 with own address as source address
[ 3851.040000] br-wan: received packet on wlan0-1 with own address as source address

Which of course stops when i go into Connection/Save, none of these errors occur in 1.5.6 thru 1.5.10

client+ap
I think this is the key

I only use AP and don't have any problems

Right, i use AP with 1.5.11 on a wzr-hp-ag300h which functions as a main AP and have no problems, i did have problems with TOR feature on the ag300h, but that was fixed with 1.5.11 probably thanks to you pointing out that it was running as root or something like that. :)

Its when i use 1.5.11 or greater with client+ap on my wzr-hp-g300nh repeater is when i get those problems. And for the record, i have tried setting it up in different ways - such as letting it DHCP thru wireless to set the G300NH's IP, and setting it as static IP as well, doesn't matter which way i set it, still looses connection.
