I just tried the newest version 1.5.11 , and my router is wr703n

I checked
"Connection->DHCP->Static IPs->Block MAC addresses assigned a static IP that connect from a different IP"

But it seems not working.

For example, I assigned Static IP Addresse for my PC1 to 192.168.1.2 and mac address is AA:AA:AA:AA:AA , another PC2 is 192.168.1.3 and mac address is 22:22:22:22:22:22

I tried if I set my PC1 to a static ip with 192.168.1.3 , I still can get through the internet and intranet. Gargoyle didn't block me.

Plz ,how to fix this issue ?

If I understand right , this function is IP-MAC bonding, I tried many versions of Gargoyle, but it seems never become effective, maybe a bug long time?

I tried on my v1.5.10 router. Works good so I do not think there is any bug.

Just doing what you showed in your post does not change the IP address on your PC. What did you do on your your PC to change its IP address? Make sure to verify that it is using the new address. It won't change just because you made a setting change on your router.

You are proving that it works.

The router has a MAC address for 192.168.11.4 that in your black&white (right under nVidia NForce) is NOT what the router expects. And 192.168.11.4 is blocked - which you say is what happened.

Er.....let me say clearly
PC1 is 00:26:18:A5:86:E4 with 192.168.11.3 bonding on static IP list

PC2 is 48:28:2F:A7:40:E7 with 192.168.11.4 bonding on static IP list

Then I set my PC1 network interface card with IP "192.168.11.4" , the mac is still "00:26:18:A5:86:E4"
If I understand right , the PC1 should be get blocked by the Gargoyle , not allowed to access the LAN and WAN , because the IP "192.168.11.4" is ONLY for mac "48:28:2F:A7:40:E7" , not for any other MACs!!

But why my PC1 is still can get through the LAN and WAN even I set the NIC with IP "192.168.11.4" ?

This situation confuses me.

Am I understand right ?

Could anyone give me an answer plz?

yep, I agree there are some issues here

I'm investigating this now, will report back when I know more.
