No Wireless Connection with Proteced Network

I am in the process of setting up the TP Link WDR4300. The flash to the latest version went well and I can access the router via ethernet cable and wirelesslyywith no security encryption (cable removed). I have tried WPA2 WPA and WES and all do not allow wireless access.
