Macbook Pro 15" Retina Kicking everyone off internet

I'm currently using a TP-Link TL-WDR3600 with 1.5.10 installed. I have set up both the 2.4Ghz band and the 5Ghz band to be working throughout my house. I'm golden on the 5Ghz band, but I'm having issues with my 2.4 GHz band when I connect my new Macbook Pro 15" Retina (OS X 10.8.4) to the network.
Originally I was connecting via WiFi and the moment I did, everyone else using the 2.4 GHz band would lose internet connectivity (not access to the network, but access to the internet itself). This was even though I was only connecting to the 5GHz band on my Macbook. So I figured I would disable the WiFi on my Macbook and get the Thunderbolt-Ethernet adapter. Hooked that up and same exact problem on the 2.4 GHz band. Anyone connected on the 5GHz is running smoothly, but 2.4 (iPods, iPhones, Android tablets, and older PC's) are hosed. They show they are connected to the network (they can print to a network printer) but if they go to their browsers, they get the "you aren't connected" message. If I unplug my Ethernet cable from the router, they instantly get a good connection again. But plug it back in and they lose it.
One thing I did try and found a minor success with was lowering my connection setting in my Macbook from gigabit to 100baseTX Full-Duplex. Once I did that, some devices were able to connect to the internet but at dog slow speeds. So it would seem that my Macbook is hogging the bandwidth, but I'm using Little Snitch and not seeing any incoming/outgoing traffic at all and they are having problems (i.e. as soon as I boot up and haven't even done anything they lose connection). Nothing seems to be running in the background (have heard iCloud stuff causing issues... not even signed up for it on this computer) but yet I seem to be hogging all the bandwidth.
I would love to get everyone on the 5GHz band, but that's just too expensive of a "fix" right now. So would like to get them running good while I'm using my Macbook if possible. Has anyone encountered this issue? Or anyone have any ideas how to fix this?
