Router dropping connection to phone

Hi,

I'm sorry if this has been answered before, I have no idea what to search for on the forums.

I have a problem with my router running gargoyle_1.5.10-ar71xx-generic-tl-wr1043nd-v1-squashfs-factory.bin. This firmware resolved pretty much all the problems I had with the stock firmware running on 1.8HW. However, I now have a problem with my phone, Galaxy Note 2. For some reason, the phone won't properly reconnect onto the router once it wakes up.

It doesn't drop a working connection when I put it to sleep if it's used in the mean time [let's say a web radio which works in the background with the screen off]. But if I put the phone to sleep, with noting using the connection it won't reconnect after I wake the phone back up. I can see that the phone is trying [green/orange arrows up top; noting upload/download activity] but nothing happens. I need to shut off wifi and start it up again. After the phone reconnects again everything works.

Any idea what could be the problem? I hope it's some setting I can change in the firmware. Thanks!

I have a similar problem, with a printer.

I need to reboot the printer and it works fine.

Everything else works just fine

Sounds to me like your phone is not coming out of sleep mode correctly.

I would look for a forum that supports the phone and see if there are any ideas there.

I have the same problem with my home router TL-WDR4300 and my galaxy note 2, and with galaxy s2.

Sometimes (even while using internet) phone become unable to continue to transmit and receive internet data and tries to repeat to do this, but nothing happens. In this case i need to disable/enable wi-fi on my phone. Or, i can wait several (4-5) minutes and phone reconnects to router itself.

My phone is set to always keep wi-fi on, event in sleep mode.
This never happens with my previous router ASUS WL-500GP, and this never happens in my office where wifi available too.

I think that it something wrong with Gargoyle 1.5.10.
