Dlink 825 used as a repeater with openwrt? I have a Belkin n600 db simultaneous dual band router. I want to use a Dlink 825 dual band router as a repeater. i want to use openwrt to do this. this router aslo has a usb port that i want to use for an external hard drive. I am not using dd-wrt because it is still a work in progress. As far as i understand i flash it with the firmware but then in order to enable wds/ repeater and usb i have to make other changes? Also is there a gui or do i have to download one separately. i have never done anything like this before so i want to be sure i know how to do everything first.

See here:
http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/start#d-link
for how to flash your particular router if you are coming from a D-Link firmware. You use an OpenWrt or Gargoyle factory image, when you upgrade from an OpenWrt or Gargoyle or switch between the two, you use a sysupgrade image.

Both OpenWrt Attitude Adjustment & Gargoyle come with web interfaces. As this is the Gargoyle forum:
