jffs ? and serial ports ? support

Thinking of give a try to Gargoyle v 1.4
However, I would like to know :
1) does it have a writable jffs file system
if yes, what would be its size on a router with 8 MB memory
2) does it have serial interface in either /dev/ttys0 ..S1 or /dev/tts0 ...1
anybody can confirm that they both work ?
(I know the first one is assigned to the console, and need to use the second serial port)
