If you have an ar71xx router with 8MB of flash memory, you can test out the new internationalization (i18n - 18 letters between i & n) form of Gargoyle. If all you use is English, this won't do much for you. Hopefully, you'd be hard pressed to find any differences from All-English Gargoyle.
If you speak Spanish (or want to just play around with it), you can install a Spanish language pack (included in the .zip file). 2 ways to install it:
• scp the file over to the router & opkg install the file (if you are on stock Gargoyle 1.5.10, your gpkg may need to be updated via opkg update & opkg install opkg). Visit the System->Languages page to switch to Spanish.
or
• firstboot.sh has a new language section. If you are connected to the internet, you will ONE DAY be able to download & install a language. For now, only the offline capability is active. You select/drag&drop the plugin-gargoyle-i18n-Spanish-ES.ipk file onto the form & his Save. You don't even need to change the password or the timezone - with any luck the form uploads the file to the router, installs the language & switches to Spanish. Note: my Mac, Safari & this haserl form detest each other. I've had much better luck with Firefox.
Once you have 2 languages installed, the Languages/Idiomas menu appears in System allowing you to switch between English & Spanish.
overview, themes & plugins standard pages are not yet translated.
usb_storage is the only plugin that is translated.
Before you flash:
make sure you know how to enter failsafe mode & flash a working firmware without an internet connection. Ideally, a 2nd router.
