Speedport W503V, Type A Port forwarding for TOR-Relay
I have had a lot of problems configuring my Speedport W503V, A (Telekom Germany) as a TOR-Relay
But now it works perfectly.
- enter: 192.168.2.1 in your browser
- enter your password, start configuration of your router
- open: network
- open: NAT and Port Rules
- open: new rule
- rule 1, active, tcp
- 443 and 443
- rule 2, active, tcp
- 9030 and 9030
- of course save your rules and give them names, like:
test x, test y !!!!
- restart your router
- start TOR, configure your TOR-relay
- run TOR until it opens a circuit, then stop TOR for a few seconds
- restart TOR
- it should work fine after some time.
It is really difficult, if your router does not support UPnP.
This instruction should also work with Speedport W701V.
