I have tested yesterday with your previous release i was able to get 4 to 6 Mbits over wifi @ 7 km with a -81dBm of signal.(19dbi grid and a 5dbi antenna).
On a very noisy place(near comunication towers)
I used iperf for the test.
Did some changes to the wifi:
uci:
distance 30000
Preamble 120
short_preamble 0
I do seem to have better stability over wireless.
What are the main changes in your builds ?

Wireless seems really solid on this build!
Running on my DIR-601 A1 as a wireless bridge.
ISpy - do you compile with the
"Force Atheros drivers to respect the user's regdomain setting"
enabled?

Installed in wr1043nd v1.8
ISP: fibertel argentina (dynamics IP)
ago 2 day.
Wireless very stable
Note:
QSS button to activate wireless not works correctly.
The router restarts.
