More info needed.

The revert info you were trying to follow is if you had OpenWRT
on your router and were trying to flash Gargoyle.

If you had TP-Link stock firmware and were trying to flash Gargoyle,
you need to follow the link here to TFTP firmware back.

http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/tl-wr841nd

If you have Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8, you will have
a hard time TFTP flashing the firmware back. You will need to use
a Windows XP or Linux machine, or put a switch between the
PC and the router before trying to TFTP.

There is no easier way - the steps I posted are what you
have to follow.

Anytime you flash 3rd party firmware, you have to do additional
steps to recover back to factory
