Hello all. First time post. I aplogize in advance if I have posted in the wrong forum section.

I purchased an x-fta router (dongle) yesterday. The firmware loaded on the unit is Gargoyle and reads: 1.2.3-custom (Built Wed May 19 00:51:44 UTC

I have absolutely no idea what the make and model number is. I will include pics in the hope that someone on the forum can assist me in identifying the myster hardware. Thank you for your time and assistance.

So then, what does Gargoyle support. FYI. Most, if not all of the X-FTA routers coming out of china have Gargoyle loaded on them.

Understood. All I am basically trying to do, and have been for almost a week now, is to find out which Gargoyle build is appropriate for this unit that I purchased. All I really have to go on is this:

I am not looking for legal / illegal / moral / immoral. Just the right build for this unit. Is that asking too much? Thank you for replying to my posts by the way. And, I apologize for sounding a little frustrated. Your input is greatly appreciated. The pic gets cut off. All I have to go on at the moment is this:

Broadcom BCM5354 chip rev 3
BCM3302 V2.9

I would give the WRT54G builds a go since it is a broadcom router. No guarantees what will happen since we don't even have a model number for this router. But since the box says it supports DD-WRT it seems to me likely that it will work.

The .trx file should work if it already has Gargoyle on it. Make sure it has at least 8MB of FLASH and 32MB of RAM if you try and load anything newer the v1.5.6
