I think these are very good ideas, but they are non-trivial to implement. I'm not sure exactly when I'll get to them, but an overhaul of QoS and integration with Quotas is overdue, and high on my priority list.

Capping to x kb/s when 100% quota:

When you reach 100%, instead of being cut-off from the internet, you could put an option to cap the connection, for example 64kb/s

Thanks =]
Eric, fyi, most (if not all) Australian ISP's have "plans" that do this for Satellite users. eg http://www.skymesh.com.au (and before I get yelled at, I have no money gaining link to them).

If you could add it a high point in your priority list, it would expand your users into the satellite users world. You may even get the ISP's recomending your package to their users.

The only difference that I would do is enable the admin to set the cap up to a variable %age, not just at 100%. It would mean there could be a warning point and the admin can reset it after contact to 100%.

I wish I could help, but after a mini-stroke I just can't code worth crap nowadays.

regards

Hi

Just got gargoyle v1.3.9 working on my Asus Wl520-gu. Very good firmware, thanks for your great effort.

Just wondering if you were going to consider the unmetered site feature? I have tried setting up the sites i want as an exception, but it doesnt seem to take effect. I assume it only works against the restrictions does it?

Thanks
Nick
