Is there a possibility to install/use Nagios or something similar to monitor IT infrastructure?

Looking at the website - I'd say doubtful.

You'd need probably need a high power router to do that.

You'd probably be better off using linux on some old PC with a
couple of NICs to do this type of stuff.

Most routers just don't have the processing power to handle
this type of stuff.
