Latest DIR-601 Firmware?

What is the latest for this D-Link model? I've tried 1.4.6 & 1.4.7 of the dir-600 series, but have yet succeeded in getting wireless bridge/repeating working!
Indeed, where does one find a listing of model-specific versions on this site; all I see in the downloads link are general.

Thanks in advance!

gargoyle_1.5.8-ar71xx-generic-dir-601-a1-squashfs-factory.bin
gargoyle_1.5.8-ar71xx-generic-dir-601-a1-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin

Either of these will work in the download section.

Easiest way is to put your dir-601 into emergency recovery mode
and then flash the squashfs-factory.bin file

Once you have Gargoyle installed you can use the sysupgrade.bin file
from now on to upgrade via the GUI

Thank you for that! Don't know how I missed those on the downloads section.
In any case, I'm now truly expert at flashing and re-flashing this little beast.
Unfortunately, I've never succeeded in getting repeater mode working, not with the newer firmware, and not even with the repeater section disabled. It never seems to connect properly to the AP or something--I can't even connect to it, hence the requisite re-flash.
Meanwhile, I'm just using it as a wireless bridge in client mode--it has no problem with that, with a second, "stock" router as the remote AP, connected in turn in gateway mode to this one. So I've enabled a repeater with the pair, and actually the bandwidth should be better, no (2 radios)?

Actually I've just found that AP-Client mode works just fine (with the single DIR-601)! Not sure why it works and repeater doesn't. Main difference I can see in the configs is that Repeater just uses a LAN config, no WAN.
(Should I be taking this to a different thread? I seem to have hijacked my own one?)
