Help me please

i went into my laptop this morning to but in new ip address since we went down last night but i made a mistake and i have tried everything and not sure what to do when i went into gargoyle it told me it need password and so i did that it was starting to do that (the blue arrow in a circle moving around) so i went to hit the mimize button on top right hand corner and instead i hit close button i can not bring back gargoyle with my ip address do you know how to fix this problem or what i can do to get it back up thanks for your help
