Hiyas
just need to find out if gargoyle can handle 2 adsl connections at the same time and be able to do something resonably sane with the routing? preferably something like this set of addresses goes out this one and that set of addresses goes out that one.. unless there's some better method..
thanks,
Splat
can gargoyle handle 2 adsl connections?

This is something not directly contemplated by Gargoyle. Gargolye is a user interface over OpenWRT (Linux) which does all the actually work of routing traffic.
So what you described is possible by using the networking concepts of Linux and writing the appropriate configuration scripts to run on your router. You would also need a second ethernet switch to connect your two or more ADSL modems together onto a single LAN which could then be attached to the WAN connection of your router.
This what I would call an advanced networking topic which would require considerable effort on your part to successfully implement. It would be interesting though.
It also would be a command line exercise and not done through the Gargoyle interface.

Re: can gargoyle handle 2 adsl connections?
so the answer is no.
I understand that openwrt itself will support it but if the Gargoyle doesn't then I'd go with the other alternative.. 2 wrt54gl's running gargoyle it's just a little messier then I would of liked.. though I gather I shouldn't have any issues linking the routers together so if they wanted to share files with each other or something it isn't impossible.
