Sitecom Range extender MAC address not recognized

Hi,
I am using Gargoyle (1.5.4) on a TPLINK WR1043ND as router and i want to use a sitecom WL330 Wireless Range Extender.
This is working fine until i want to enable Mac address filtering on the Gargoyle Router.
With Mac filtering disabled, i can see the range extender in the wireless hosts, but without MAC address. Entering the Mac Address of the extended (as documented on the device) and enabling mac address filtering causes the extender not to be able to connect to the router.
Accordint to sitecom, the address found on the extender is the correct one and the one i should use on the router...
Did anyone resolve a similar issue?
