3g USB dongle in TP-WR1043nd

Hello Eric and All,
Appreciate all your efforts.
Read through the forum topics on the wr1043nd especially v1.8 and wan issues. I just bought a ver1.8 yesterday and believe i am all set to flash it soon.
Is it possible to use a 3g dongle in the usb after flashing with OpenWrt in this model ?

maybe

some TP-Link's are having trouble with older gargoyle firmware

3g is having problems with the current test firmware

a friend set this up 4 months ago with 1043ND HW current at that time and Gargoyle version current at that time; perhaps 1.56?

It just works. He was quite pleased.

the router of your friend is v1.8?
