Hello,

I have a FRITZ!Box 7170(192.168.178.1, DHCP activated) connected to the internet. Using the WLAN with WEP and WDS is activated.

Now i want to replace my old siemens repeater with a WR741ND with Gargoyle 1.5.6 to extend the Wireless Network.

The first Question is, which mode do i have to choose?Wireless Bridge/Repeater or Gateway Mode?
This isn't working. Turning DHCP on or off with Subnet-IP's doesn't change anything.

Maybe somebody can correct or tell me the mistake i am making?

The second image is what i would use. Your setting look correct?

I would suggest that from memory there was a problem with WEP.

use something else

same problem WR741ND v2.4 + Gargoyle 1.5.9 in Bridge mode
