Can you implement a dir-300 version of gargoyle?
a functional reset button (this is a hardware dependent you said)
and a wan port thats works like AP mode in DD-wrt.
I´m using/testing this great firmware!
thanks!

Which DIR-300 version do you have?

There's an A generation and a B generation.

IF you have the early ones, Gargoyle Atheros version should work.

The Dir-300 A version is similar to the Airlink AR-430W
4MB Flash, 16MB Ram, and also similar to Fonera 2100/2200/2201+
Only difference is the Fonera has 8MB flash and 16MB ram

If you have the DIR-300 B version, check DD-WRT forums.
From what I've read there, the new versions are RaLink chipset.
Unless I mis-read... but they are no longer Atheros based.

In a different post, as you read, Eric said the Reset button was on the bottom of the to-do list. His to-do list is quite long! Spread around on multiple posts heh...

As for the Wan port that works like AP mode? What do you mean?
Could you give more description on this?

when I set up gargoyle in dir-300 with wan port(wired not wireless),
like AP mode. I can´t connect to the router through lan ports.
only by the wireless connection.

OK... that actually sounds like a driver issue.

The LAN ports should work by default, there's no setting to turn them off in the Web GUI. I know you can edit how they work through iptables (not 100% on that as I never use that command myself.)

You may want to actually report this as a bug. The reset button is definitely quite a ways out, if ever, but that LAN port switch issue definitely sounds like a missing driver.
