Wireless Bridge problem with VOIP

Hi,
First this is my setup:
<-> cable
<~~~> wireless
Comcast Cable Modem <-> Netgear WDNR3700V2 (1.5.6)
Netgear WDNR3700V2 (1.5.6) <~~~> WRT54G (1.5.6)
The WRT54 is set up as a wireless bridge (no repeater).
I also have a vivophone voip box, which I connect to either one of the routers.
The problem: when I plug the vivo box to the WRT54, it does not communicate to its VOIP server over the internet
Troubleshooting:
*If I connect the vivo box to the wdnr7300 directly, it works
*I can ping the vivobox regardless of it being to the wrt54g or the wdnr3700
*already done multiple restarts
*Further troubleshooting revealed that any computer connected to the WRT54g does not communicate to the internet.
*clients on the wrt54g get the ip for the wrt54g as the gateway as opposed to the ip of the wdnr3700 (the real gateway).
It appears that i have internal connectivity but no access to the outside world from the wrt54g. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Mario
