Gargoyle not logging into a webpage:Failed to Load error 324

Post by bawjkt »

I have a remote network appliance at a hotel that I log into via HTTP 8080.

Since I switched to Gargoyle I get an error upon trying to log into it.
Strangely, I'm able to go through this same device via port forwards on the same address and log into other equipment.

When I switch out the Gargoyle router for the old Cradlepoint, it works fine on my connection. The Gargoyle is a stock 1.5.5 build on 1043ND and I actually even turned off QOS to see if it would fix it. It's definitely nothing in the browser or internet connection; they all work fine if I switch the Gargoyle out for the Cradlepoint or if I go via WiFi hotspot out through my phone.

the error message is: Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): The server closed the connection without sending any data.

at a loss as to how to fix this. Loving the QOS but this is a real issue.

getting these at first as well:

Error 15 (net::ERR_SOCKET_NOT_CONNECTED): Unknown error.

then it rolls into a constant

Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): The server closed the connection without sending any data.

has anybody seen this?

This problem went away.

I was using the Cradlepoint with open sessions into the device, switched routers without touching my sessions (with live updating graphs) and lo and behold the graphs resumed updating

I then tried to open a new tab and log in and it works.

Hope it holds.

All is well in the world, my 'goyle and I are back together.
