FTP to router?

I'm wondering if this could be possible, even if I have to figure out how to use and install something via opkg..

The reason I'm wondering is because it would be nice to use Directory Opus [supreme file manager] to change router configs and whatnot within it's listers. Not even the Advanced FTP module for Dopus supports SCP (SSH via FTP(SFTP as I understand it), but not SCP).

Thanks.

There are several ftp server packages available. I have never used any of them because of the security risk involved and because the stock scp works well for me.

You can investigate from the commandline of your router.

>opkg update
>opkg list | grep ftpd

Choose one of the three or four available and go investigate how to install and configure it.

ok - thanks.. I'll investigate those later, but as as you say, I would worry about security too - I didn't really think of that.

In the meantime - if someone has successfully used any of them with Gargoyle, please speak up.
