WAN port dropping on 1.0.10..

I've noticed this in the past few firmware revisions, that a few times a day, the WAN port loses connectivity.

I can connect Gargoyle's web interface, though can't connect to my modem or the internet for intervals of 1 to 5 minutes a few times a day, over both wired and wireless connections.

Anyone else experiencing this?

:)

What hardware and connection type are you running?

I've never seen a drop in WAN port connection with any of the
beta builds nor the release builds.

I've tried every build from Beta 5 until 1.0.10 as well as
TONS of the AP+Client testing builds.

Not once have I seen a WAN drop. It's always stayed connected.

I've heard there are PPPoE issues with connections.

I'm using a WRT54GL, V 1.1, with a wired static IP.

I've never encountered this problem. I also have a WRT54GL on wired static IP (G.SHDSL) , as well as another one on PPPoE ADSL.

Have you tried changing the network cable?

And is this a cable modem? Might try to power off/on the cable modem also.

I have cable modem ISP service, and recently called out for some repairs. Turns out the underground cable I have has some protecting fluid that causes the internal wiring to constrict.
I thought it sounded weird myself, but they changed the cable ends and also changed the splitter adapter, and my internet was up and running fine again.
