Hi,
Is it possible to set up a dnsmasq in gargoyle?
I looked elsewhere about preventing access to https facebook.
Is SSH necessary to do this, or can it be done in the interface?
I would like to set up a dnsmasq for https sites that are accessed here at home. As long as I know how to setup one, the rest should be easier.

Alternatively, i tried to nullroute it in the routing section.
null route 69.171.224.0/19 and 66.220.144.0/20
But I was still able to access it with https.
Not sure if the interface should be LAN or WAN

I would love any assistance with this.

Gargoyle uses Firewall/restrictions to block access to web sites.

I cannot understand why you are referencing dnsmasq which has a completely different function.

True, Gargoyle uses firewall/access restrictions to block http websites but not https websites.
Which is pretty useless unless you block port 443.
That works great, but there are times when it is needed
So why not redirect specific secure domain names in the router to prevent access to the sites that can not be blocked?
Setting up restrictions in their local hosts file will be wiped in seconds, so it needs to be done in the router.
I know of another router firmware that has this option but I have been using gargoyle for years in which access restrictions are more flexible.
This is why I love gargoyle and wish something could be done to control https sites.

Firewall/Restrictions blocks IP addresses regardless of port number.

So to block facebook you put in the IP address of their server and then no access is allowed.
