Hey i already have dd-wrt installed and was looking at gargoyle do i need to do anything other than flash with gargoyle_1.5.4-ar71xx-tl-wr941nd-v3-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin or do i need to go back to a fresh install with factory firmware?

You should be able to upgrade to Gargoyle from the DD-WRT GUI
Just make sure you do a reset to defaults first, reboot, then
go ahead and try to flash the Gargoyle Sysupgrade firmware

Na it did not work oh well i don't have the time to be mucking around trying to get it to work. The flat mates are angry enough after it took me 30mins to try and get dd-wrt back after it failed to upgrade the firmware.
