Hi,

I am a total newb at this and I am trying to figure out what went wrong.... I was using Firefox as my browser to connect to my router... I entered in the IP of 192.168.1.1... I tried to run the update file : gargoyle_1.5.4-brcm47xx-squashfs.trx.

Went in to my update firmware, loaded up the file, clicked on upgrade and then it timed out... I tried rebooting the router...tried the reset button, and no such luck... I can't get the router to communicate with my Firefox.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Give your computer a static ip address, and try this:

always use internet explorer for firmware installation. I also had similar problems, but with IE everything went fine.

I have always used Google Chrome with no issues. I've done about 6 flash upgrades now. But I'm no expert!
