Gargoyle 1.5.x whitelist failure

Hi there,
After finally getting my WZR-HP-G300NH running with Gargoyle, I setup my whole network the way I had it with the old router, including the restrictions I had before. Unfortunately, things are not functioning as anticipated. As soon as I add the domain to except, the entire network is open again.
If the Website URL line is Block All, it does block all, except for the MAC that is excepted. If I add one exception, nothing is blocked. Have things changed? Am I doing it right? How can I work on this?
