DHCP overrides static IP, 1.5.2

Hi,

thanks for wonderful firmware for my router, I'm using TP-Link WR941NDv3 with Gargoyle image 1.5.2.

I have set static IP on wan but I observe that after some hours of work, wan IP is changing to value offered by my ISP DHCP server. I can see that firewall rules allows for DHCP renew on wan. I'm not sure where is DHCP client config. Uci shows "dhcp.wan.ingore=1".

Any advice how to trace this problem?

I would recommend re-flashing 1.5.2 and re-configure fresh.

Don't load an old config file, re-configure.

I've run every 1.4.x release, 1.5.x release, and also tested
each of the OpenWRT 10.03.1 and release candidates.

I have never seen an issue with a static IP WAN all of a sudden
turning into DHCP and trying to get an IP from the ISP?

This was my first try at Gargoyle, I had no backup. I installed all and tried different configurations. I checked that DHCP on wan was working and then set my static IP.

After a day router returned to DHCP IP on wan but the web interface was still showing static configurations. Clicking "save" restored static IP. The next day all repeated.

Maybe problem is visible, because my static IP is from outside DHCP range, actually very different lan.

I have noticed some other problems and finally decided to flash again, but this time openwrt. I'll see if DHCP acts again.
