hi,anybody know if i set something wrong and the web gui is not accesible how do i reset the router dir 601 a1 1.5.2 ,is it like 30/30/30?
i was not able to reset to default/factory config and had to reflash with dlink and gargoyle again

Follow that page for instructions.

D-Link DIR-601 has a built in factory recovery mode.

I've used it, it works great - just follow all the instructions
and you can flash OpenWRT or Gargoyle image on there.

When flashing from that interface, you HAVE TO USE the firmware
that has "factory" in the name, NOT the sysupgrade firmware.

Before i had a wrt160n and when i had set something wrong or wanted to start fresh i would press reset buttton for 30/30/30 seconds with dd-wrt firmware
for the 601 with gargoyle the reset button dont work ? If i want to reset all to default i have to load the file again?
and if i want to increase transmit power how do i do it ?
It wont let me more than 27 even if i chose custom

There is no 30/30/30 reset with any router that runs OpenWRT, which Gargoyle is based on. You should be able to adjust the wireless transmit power in the Gargoyle web interface, at least, I was able to with my WRT54GL. Also, setting your router to broadcast at a signal strength higher than a laptop or desktop computer wireless card can broadcast at is pretty pointless. Most broadcast at less than 20 dBm.
