Am I thick? I don't get it!
yc3948 wrote: Here I am, days later, and there's been no need to reset the router. I performed the 30/30/30 a little after I posted that message. No reset since. Speed still very good. I am going to say 30/30/30 is a win/win/win.
Kamiller, which version are you on? I'll test on my RSPro and WZR-HP-G300NH. Thanks for being the guinea pig!

I think that is mapped in /etc/config/system but I'm not the expert. Anyone else? I know I have a file with some button mappings that I was using before the router was officially supported. I'm wondering if pulling that file from a working firmware and putting it on 1.4.5 would work.

What version was it last working on for you?

DoesItMatter?

I have 1.4.5 on my RSPro now and we'll see. BTW, on the RSPro, when you reconnect the power with the reset button held (the 3rd 30), the router goes into recovery mode and I can only TFTP the factory file to 192.168.1.20. Apprently, that the way the RSPro works.

What about the WZR-HP-G300NH? After a true 30/30/30, can you access the Gargoyle GUI on 192.168.1.1? That's my production router and I'm trying to minimize downtime, hence the need for clarification.

Thanks!

This can happen with certain browsers / OS combo's

What browser are you using?

Latest Google Chrome and Firefox 7/8/9 work just fine.

Internet Explorer can have some display issues

Safari - not sure - may/may not work correctly.

Firefox usually seems to work the best on all Windows / Linux

I wanted to let everyone know that I just had a successfull flash of Gargoyle to my WNDR3700 V1. I haven't setup the wireless yet but just testing the wired portion right now and I must say this firmware is awesome. :D Thanx to all that have contributed to this release.
