Hi men, can someone write me some directions on how to set up my tp-link wrt741nd to work as a universal wireless repeater so that it will connect to the strongest signal and repeat it to share internet?
I've found this but is for dd-wrt, and i don't know how to do it on gargoyle.

Please help!

I would suggest that "Universal Wireless Repeater" is the same as "Client + AP" in gargoyle

No, it's not the same thing.
Repeater mode implies that all devices are in the same subnet, while this is not true for AP+Client mode. However, AP+Client mode tends to be more reliable.

Setting it up how you want from the GUI - probably not going to happen.

You can try following those instructions, but you'll be doing a lot
of command line editing and also testing.
I haven't tried that myself, no need, but that link may help you.
